Our Qualifications
- Dr.Iyer came to Pittsburgh in 2003.She has a Ph.D in applied Biology(Endocrinology) from Bombay University and MPH from Johns Hopkins(Genetic Epidemiology). Dr.Iyer was a Postdoctoral fellow in Neuroendocrinology at the National Insitutes of Health working on Brain peptides and Postdoctoral Fellow in Genetics at Boston University school of medicine working on genetic risk factors of Alzheimer's disease.
- Prior to coming to the US she was a Professor of life Sciences at St.Xaviers' college, Bombay and a Fellow of Indian Council of Medical research.
- After a stint in academia both in India and the US Dr.Iyer decided to switch to business and joined Metlife as a Financial advisor and now runs her own   practiceÂ
- Registered to offer securities products in PA and Licensed to sell Life & Health Insurance in Pennsylvania, Maryland & New Jersey , Missouri .
